F.B.I. man Matthew Harrington is sent to Hong Kong to retrieve a prisoner, Nicholas Kehr, return him to the U.S. and keep him safe so he can testify at a very important trial. Matt is not at all happy to find out the trial won't be for five months!
From Hong Kong they travel to Shanghai, to Peking, to Seoul, to Tokyo. They travel by boat, train, truck, car, and airplane to make it to the U.S. From LAX they hop around the country, one step ahead of those who would see them both dead. Everything possible is being done to keep Kehr from testifying.
In the mean time they are drawn closer and closer together forming a bond that surpasses anything either of them has ever known before.
They make it to the trial and end up facing gunfire in the courtroom but Matt has a plan!
